Laurie has over 25 years of significant experience in the practice areas of complicated estate and retirement planning, asset protection, and estate administration. Her work has focused on client representation to achieve efficient tax planning and preservation of wealth. In her practice Laurie’s service to her clients concentrates on thoughtful and careful planning of the estate to protect her client’s assets from estate tax exposure.
Federal and New York State Estate tax laws are changing, evolving and in certain instances reverting to prior law. Laurie creates her client’s estate plan in compliance with the changing laws while utilizing tax saving strategies to benefit her client’s loved ones or special charities rather than the government, creditors, predators, or unintended beneficiaries by virtue of divorce. A well-constructed estate plan benefits her clients in many ways. In Laurie’s practice she often creates a calmness and peace of mind for her clients by establishing their confidence knowing that their life’s savings will ultimately be passed to their intended beneficiaries.
