Michelle has been associated with the firm since 1999 and became a principal in 2004. Prior to joining Cioffi Slezak Wildgrube PC, Michelle worked for a general practice firm that provided a broad foundation for her practice which now concentrates in the areas of estate planning and administration, corporate and business law, and real estate. Michelle enjoys working with clients to find solutions for their legal needs, drawing on her diverse experience in many areas of the law to create the best plan for her clients.

Raised in Niskayuna in a household that greatly values community service, Michelle has continued this tradition, volunteering with many not-for-profit organizations. She currently serves on the boards of directors of The Legal Project and the Schenectady County Bar Association. Michelle regularly lectures for the Affordable Housing Attorney Assistance Program (AHAA!) on real estate issues for first time home buyers. In addition, Michelle teaches the Real Estate Closings course for the AHAA! program, training attorneys to represent clients with regard to real estate purchases. She has also appeared on The Legal Project’s WTEN Legal HelpLine, answering questions on the topics of estates, trusts and wills and real estate and has contributed to the Albany Times Union’s Ask the Legal Project column.

Michelle has been appointed as a trustee for the John Alexander Memorial Scholarship and serves as an elected delegate for the Schenectady County Bar Association to the Federation of Bar Associations, 4th Judicial District. Michelle was also the recipient of the Schenectady County Bar Association’s first Young Lawyer Award. Michelle is Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Legal Project.

Michelle holds a Bachelor in Arts Degree in English from Rutgers College and a Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.
