Contact Nicole L. Clouthier

Nicole has exclusively practiced in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, elder law, and guardianship matters since her graduation from St. John’s School of Law in 2007.

Nicole has a diverse client base ranging from newlyweds and new parents just starting out, to established professionals and retirees looking to minimize estate taxes and protect their assets in order to transfer wealth to younger generations.  Nicole recognizes that each client is unique and has a different set of planning needs.  With that in mind, her goal is to develop a long-term relationship with her clients in order to implement a plan that addresses their individual needs and circumstances.

Professionally, Nicole is a member of the NYS Bar Association and is currently acting as the section liaison between the Young Lawyers Section and the Trusts and Estates Law Section. She is also a member of the Elder Law committee of the Schenectady County Bar Association, and a general member of the Albany County and Capital District Women’s Bar Associations.

In addition to her professional commitments, Nicole volunteers for the Foundation for Ellis Medicine as a sub-committee co-chair for the Women’s Night Out event held each fall.  Having grown up in Niskayuna and attended Siena College for her undergraduate degree, Nicole has strong ties with the local community.

Nicole currently lives in Clifton Park with her husband, Brett, and son, Lucas.
